Apparently, the inspiration behind this cat’s dragon Halloween costume comes from the animated film, How to Train Your Dragon. Many people have told Skippy’s owners that their kitty looks just like the dragon from the movie, Toothless. We have to agree that the resemblance is uncanny!

Commenters also thought that this cat’s Halloween costume was just too perfect!

“I immediately yelled Toothless,” said one user.

Another added, “This is it, the cutest video on the internet.”

You may have noticed that the cat had some trouble getting around in the video while wearing his Halloween costume. Skippy’s owners addressed this in the comments section when someone pointed it out. They explained that his dwarfism affects his mobility.

“Don’t worry, he is ok!” they wrote. “He was born with a form of dwarfism, so his bones didn’t develop properly. But rest assured he is not in any pain.”

Catster tells us that dwarfism is a genetic condition that causes disporportionately short legs as well as other bodily abnormalities. It can also lead to chronic pain or other health issues further down the line.

In other posts, Skippy’s owners have shared some of the special care that their kitty requires because of his dwarfism. For example, this little guy can’t clean himself the way that other cats can. So, his humans have to give him baths more frequently.

We’re so glad that Skippy has loving owners who are willing to care for his special needs!
