Hedi Klum’s Favorite Act: From The Beginning To Now
Heidi has loved Richard Goodall since the audition stage of the competition. He came on and was adorable and charming, not to mention a really impressive singer. He shared with the world that he has been a janitor for 23 years but that his true passion is singing. For his audition, he sang Don’t Stop Believing by Journey.
This incredible performance earned him Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer. Richard Goodall gained popularity as he moved to the quarterfinals. There, he performed How Am I Supposed To Live Without You by Michael Bolton, which Simon Cowell told him, “The good news is you nailed it …and if you make it through, you really do have a shot at winning this whole competition.
Next, Heidi Klum’s favorite AGT performer took on the Survivor’s Eye of the Tiger for the semifinals. Heidi was still infatuated with her Golden Buzzer pick. After his performance, she said, “Are you kidding me right now? Epic performance. Epic performance!” She then begged America to vote for Richard Goodall, which they did.
Janitor Richard Goodall Gave An Epic Final “AGT” Performance
Now, in the finale, Richard Goodall is still receiving love from the fans and the judges. For this AGT performance, the beloved janitor from Indiana decided to go with another Journey song, Faithfully. Heidi started the comments by saying, “Richard, I have faithfully been your biggest fan since the very, very first day we met, all the way through this competition.”
Heidi Klum continued to praise her favorite act, “You are such an amazing man. You’re so humble; you’re so kind. You’re also a little bit quiet, but not when you are behind that microphone.” She told Richard Godoball that she thinks he is “a big rock star.”
Heidi Klum then added, “I want you to win this so bad, Richard.” With a blessing like that, alongside his talent, we think Richard Goodall has a pretty good shot.
