When you’ve worked together for decades, it’s hard when your most trusted coworker decides to move on. Pat Sajak and Vanna White were the dream team on Wheel Of Fortune for 41 years. Pat decided to retire, but Vanna wasn’t quite ready to stop turning letters. While they may have appeared as a package deal to viewers, that wasn’t the case. The co-stars had to choose their destiny, and when Pat left, Vanna stuck around. Ryan Seacrest moved in as the new host of Wheel of Fortune, and he’s been a hit with fans and Vanna.

Pat Sajak And Vanna White Built A Strong Bond
It’s hard not to become friends when you’ve spent so much time with someone, and Pat Sajak and Vanna White certainly developed a fantastic relationship. Vanna recently shared with TV Insider that Ryan made her feel very comfortable when he started at Wheel.
“Ryan did his homework,” she said. “He rehearsed and rehearsed and rehearsed. He also said to me, ‘I am not replacing Pat Sajak because no one could – ever. I am just stepping in.’ That made me feel good because, as Ryan said, he’s just stepping in – he’s not trying to prove anything.”
Vanna White added when Pat Sajak decided to walk away, it was a bittersweet time for her.
“It was sad for me in a way because [at the time] I didn’t know what the future held,” she said. “It was ending an unbelievable era!”
But Vanna assured me she and Pat still have a great relationship and spend time together when they can. “I still see him!” she said. “We’re friends. We have dinner! Yeah, he’s still in my life.”
They’re arguably the most famous duo in game show history, nothing will change that.
