Here’s What Kate Middleton Really Thinks About Prince William’s Beard

Kate Middleton William Beard

Many people loved it when Prince William debuted his beard. It gave the future king a very modern look and was a departure from his normally stately appearance. William looked like many men today, and his relatable style struck a chord with plenty of people. But it doesn’t really matter what the world thinks about his appearance. The only person whose opinion of William’s beard really matters is Kate Middleton. She reportedly remarked on Wiliam’s beard during the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Wellington Barracks. According to People, someone overheard Kate say, “These trends come and go,” she said. “I was saying to my husband, I’m not sure how long he’s going to keep his for.”

An Insider Claims If Kate Middleton Didn’t Like The Beard William Wouldn’t Have It

Former royal aid Jason Knauf reportedly told 60 Minutes Australia in February 2025 that Kate’s opinion definitely matters to her husband.

“If she didn’t like it, it wouldn’t be there. I could tell you that,” he said.

Prince William’s bead first became a viral sensation in August 2024. He debuted the look in an X video following the Paris Olympics. Kate Middleton, William, and his beard congratulated Team Great Britain on their accomplishments during the summer games.

Followers loved the message but immediately keyed in on the beard.

“Pardon me ladies…I need to cool down Prince William looks so handsome with a bit of facial stubble,” someone wrote.

Another person shared, “Great to see so many people congratulating GB and oh William…”

So many people praised the look, “Well well, how amazing to see The Princess of Wales!! Even more amazing to see Prince William with a beard. Congratulations Team GB you did yourselves & your country proud.”

Kate Middleton certainly thinks Wiliam is handsome no matter what, but if you ask us, the beard can stay.
