Last year, Ned Tarmey rescued a dog, naming him Kane. Now, a mere year later, that same dog got the chance to save his owner’s life. The events are truly shocking. One day, 86-year-old Ned took notice of the fact that his dog was starting to get a bit fussy. Ned thought this meant he wanted to go outside, so he gathered his things to do just that. But as soon as Ned opened his front door, he was met by someone unexpected.

His neighbor, Jeff Tarmey, was standing outside. He was completely naked. But this is something Ned barely had the time to comprehend because, in an instant, he was hit by a brick. Jeff continued to throw rocks, bricks, and lawn furniture at Ned, all while screaming that he was going to kill him. As you can imagine, these methods of attack were brutal for Ned. Thankfully, Kane quickly intervened. In fact, he was able to keep Jeff held down until police arrived.

When police did arrive, a stun gun was used on Jeff. It was also used on Kane, who refused to let go of the attacker. Thankfully, Kane is doing okay after the incident. And thanks to his brave actions, Ned is also okay after a brief stay in the ICU.

While Jeff faces charges for his attack, Ned and Kane were happily reunited at the hospital. Needless to say, Ned’s loved ones are feeling emotional over the way Kane quite literally saved the man’s life.
“Oh, what a good boy,” Ned said when the two of them reunited. “Oh, you saved my life! You saved my life!”
