Four wildfires continue to rage across Los Angeles. Tens of thousands of people in this area have been told to evacuate. Still, there are plenty of people who remain in the area. This includes workers and patients in hospitals. Helene Grauer, who is a Los Angeles nurse, has given insight into what it’s like working in one of those hospitals right now. Needless to say, they are facing a number of challenges.

At Helene’s hospital, this includes the challenge of a power outage. While this has made caring for patients more difficult, it certainly has not stopped these hardworking healthcare workers from providing their patients with the best care possible. When LA Hospital Loses Power Due to Deadly Wildfires, Every Healthcare Worker Comes Together to Take Care of the Patients

In this video, we see a long line of healthcare workers standing inside a stairwell. Each one is prepared to pass along the next tray of food that comes their way. You can tell that they’ve gotten into the groove of things, ensuring that everyone gets their food ASAP. It’s simple moments like these, amidst such tragedy, that give folks hope.

“That line is all different coats and uniforms. THAT IS A FAMILY,” a third person points out. “That is a network that cares about their patients. To all those staff, we love you. Thank you so much. PLEASE BE SAFE.”
