Video Shows An Incredible Coast Guard Rescue After Hurricane Milton
Fox News shared the footage on Instagram of a boat captain who Hurricane Milton took for a ride. The caption reads:
“Dramatic video captures the moment the Coast Guard saves a boat captain holding on for dear life to a cooler after he was knocked off his fishing vessel and swept into the waters by Hurricane Milton.”
The man was stranded in the ocean, floating on top of a cooler, just hoping that someone would come along and help. The Coast Guard showed up with a helicopter and dropped a responder into the water, who brought him to safety. It is incredible to see the rescue and to think the man survived in the treacherous water alone.
Plenty of people felt the man’s survival was great advertising. “Awesome job! And one hell of a Yeti commercial!”
This person joked, “Bet he kept thinking, are they coming YETI? But till they do igloo -d to this.”
The rescue must have made him feel so good. “Imagine the great relief this man’s soul experienced when he saw the guard coast coming.”
This person praised the Coast Guard for its help. “The USCG produces the best of the best when conducting rescues. They are true heroes and should be recognized for it.”
