Leaving your pets home when you go on vacation isn’t easy.

As pet owners, we often underestimate just how much time and patience it takes to care for our animals. We get so used to dealing with their individual personalities and idiosyncrasies that it’s hard to explain all those details to a stranger. Unless you’re Allison F.’s mom, that is.

When Twitter user Allison F. stopped by her mother’s house while she was on vacation, she was not surprised at all to find that her mom had taken great pains to ensure that her four cats would be well cared for in her absence.
In addition to the usual feeding instructions, Allison’s mom had created and printed out colorful, illustrated dossiers for each cat.

As you can tell, no detail was too small to be omitted from her mother’s kitty bios. Cooper, above, seems to be entirely motivated by his stomach. If you’re looking for Cooper, check the food storage area! Classic Cooper.

Jack here is the skittish type, so if you sneeze, he’ll run and hide and you’ll basically never find him again. Oh, and if you scratch his ears and chin, he’ll reward you by purring and drooling.

Don’t let the nickname “Lucy-fur” fool you, Lucy is the friendliest of the bunch in spite of that yucky binge and purge habit she’s got. “Like I told you yesterday, she’s a puker,” the bio reads.
Fun!

We saved the best for last. This is Pootydoots. You can call her any variation of that name, including a simple “Poo.” She’s not picky! Just shake a bag of treats and Pootydoots will come running!
Seriously, how cute is this lady about her cats? Twitter thought Allison’s mom was pretty great, too.

As it turns out, other people have mothers who are just as obsessively organized about their pet’s care and feeding, too. “Thought my mum was the only one crazy enough to do this,” another Twitter user wrote.

Tootles!
This is easily the cutest thing we’ve seen in ages. Have a great trip, Allison’s mom! We’re sure Cooper, Jack, Lucy, and Pootydoots appreciate the effort.
Please share this story with a cat lover who would totally do this, too!
