One little child wanted to be an Oscar Meyer wiener and their dream came true. We all know the famous tune, but that isn’t what this enthusiastic child sang at their school talent show. The song everyone knows is cute, but it hasn’t aged well. This kid made up a new hot dog parody song, and it is perfectly delicious. The name of this new ditty you’ll be singing all week is “HOT (dogs) TO GO.”

The costume is perfect. This ten year-old kid is dressed as a hotdog with a cowboy hat. He is ready to wrangle the audience. “H-O-T-D-O-G-S Hotdogs are the stinkin’ best!” The song speaks to all the virtues of the glorious hotdog. “H-O-T-D-O-G-S If you’re not hungry I’ll eat the rest!” This kid is singing his mustard off.
While we have no clue what his paper bag contains, we make the assumption that it is a “to-go” bag full of scrumptious hotdogs. Although it seems like this might be the song that doesn’t end, it does have an ending.
The young man tips his cowboy hat and dances his way into the hearts of the audience. Well, at least the ones that weren’t sleeping. As is typical for school talent shows, you get an audience that feels an obligation, but no desire, to attend. Filled with bored parents, siblings, and grandparents, the audience is less than appreciative of this hot dog parody act.
Toward the end of his performance, some of the audience seemed to realize that this wasn’t the typical talent show act. Thankfully, this wonderful performance was posted on TikTok for us to enjoy. TikTok fans think this kid’s hot dog parody deserves a record contract.
