When most hear the word “Wolf” they think of scary identifiers: “Fangs,” “Aggressive,” “Mean.” But at the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center things are a little different.

Along with howling and hunting, the animals give kisses and love to play. Especially one canine in particular, Kekoa – a ginormous wolf with an exceptionally gentle personality. She loves being silly with her caretakers, and Danielle is her favorite.
Out of all the volunteers, Danielle is very experienced. She’s made friends with all the wolves in the sanctuary and they’ve bonded quite closely with her. In an awesome display of affection, Danielle sits down on the snow, waiting for a little one-on-one with Kekoa.
Soon a furry giant walks up and suffocates her with kisses…and then another wolf, Sakura, can’t help but join in on the fun.
But it’s the affection at 1:01 that really gets us: Kekoa is like a puppy dog!!
The center’s mission, as indicated on their website, is to “Educate the public about the importance of Wolves, Coyotes, and Foxes to our eco-system, and Preservation and Conservation of the forests, land, and water that supports wildlife, flora, and fauna for future generations to enjoy.”
They also focus on providing natural habitats and exceptional lives for the animals as they cannot live in the wild. It seems as though they’re living up to their expectations as these wolves couldn’t look any happier!
Watch the adorable moment below and share this great mission with the world!
