You’d probably be a bit confused if your wife randomly came home with a puppy after a grocery run, right? Well, in this woman’s defense, her husband had asked her to get “anything else we could use for the house.” Who couldn’t use an adorable, fluffy companion around their home? Megan Morrison definitely hit the mark with her purchase.

In a hilarious video on social media, Megan filmed herself returning home after running some errands. She explained that her husband had given her his credit card and requested that she pick up some groceries and other supplies for the house. However, one of the items she unpacked from her shopping bag was definitely not like the others!
Megan removed her purchases from the bag one by one and put them down on the counter. They included a bunch of bananas, a package of crunchy snacks, and the tiniest dog you’ve ever seen! A few commenters, including some well-known brands, were in full support of this wife’s decision to bring home a puppy.
“All I see is household essentials,” wrote Princess Polly, a clothing store.
Honey Maid added, “Everything you got were necessities.”
Where did this wife actually get the puppy?
Megan eventually had to post an update video clearing up some of her other viewers’ concerns. Some people were worried that the pooch could have gotten hurt while sitting in a grocery bag with a big cluster of bananas. Others weren’t thrilled that this wife had purchased a puppy at such a young age.
In her follow-up, Megan assured everyone that she never actually put the bananas on top of the tiny animal. She had only been pretending to remove the fruit from the bag for comedic effect. As it turns out, the entire video was just a joke! This wife didn’t bring the puppy home from her shopping trip at all. He already lived at Megan’s house along with his mom and all of his siblings!
In the end, it looks like there’s no cause for alarm here — just a silly video featuring a very cute puppy!
