Boy Busts Out Dance Moves In Front Of Cop Igniting Cutest Battle Ever.

It’s a police officer’s duty to protect, serve, and, apparently, when the occasion calls for it, bust a move.

At least, that’s Jayden Anthony Marquez’s experience. The Colorado third grader is a very talented break dancer who’s been taking Denver by storm, performing in the streets as his mom, Vanessa Marquez, records his amazing moves. He belongs to a dance group called “Breakfx,” but after recently taking on an unlikely rival, he might have to form a new group of break dancers in blue.

While walking around 16th Street Mall, the seven-year-old noticed a couple of officers hanging out nearby. He asked if he could take a picture in front of their motorcycle and they were all for it. But when Jayden posed with one of his signature moves, he never expected it to turn into an out-all break-dancing battle.

What Jayden didn’t know is that Officer PJ has some pretty impressive moves himself – and he wasn’t afraid to show them off in uniform.

Vanessa recorded the sweet moment as the two went back and forth in their impromptu dance-off, nailing increasing complicated moves.

It’s hard to decide who was the better dancer here, though both clearly have the athleticism needed to become a pro at street dancing.

But in the end, that wasn’t what mattered. Both came out winners for simply having a fun time together, not just as officer and citizen, but two people making a connection. Officer PJ asked where Jayden went to school, and the two ended the friendly competition with a fist bump.

We love seeing officers helping their communities, whether they’re lending a hand or bringing smiles to the people they serve. And so do the millions who watched Jayden and Officer PJ! In the end, it’s all about nurturing positive relationships, and you don’t have to be a good dancer to do it!
