The Family Switch is a modern holiday classic starring Jennifer Garner and Ed Helms, busy parents just trying to get through the holiday season. The film came out in 2023 on Netflix, and fans instantly felt drawn to the Walker family. And even though we know that Jen is just playing a mom in the movie, parenting comes so naturally to her that it’s not hard to find her character believable. Jennnifer Garner shared a throwback pic with movie hubby Ed Helms dressed in red and white candy cane stripes on her Instagram stories to celebrate the film’s first anniversary. The pair looked festive and ready for Christmas.

Jennnifer Garner Makes The Sweetest Candy Cane
She and End donned red and white outfits that looked perfectly peppermint in the film. Jen wore the festive red and white outfit with a show-stopper headband complete with candy canes on top and a pair of white drop earrings. Of course, she wore red lipstick, nail polish, and red Mary Jane shoes as finished touches.
Ed’s candy cane outfit was more of an actual piece of candy. He looked like an actual peppermint stick meant for Old St. Nick on Christmas Eve. His red pants, red and white vest, and festive headpiece made him good enough to eat.
Candy Canes aren’t the only way Jennifer Garner gets into the Christmas spirit. She posted an additional video on Instagram of her leaving little gifts for unsuspecting shippers this Christmas season.
She wrote, “Secret Santa strikes again! Look for @onceuponafarm’s new BABY COOLERS in your favorite baby aisle (especially Target! Whole Foods! Kroger! Walmart!) for a little organic, nutritious, carefully sourced and made, no sugar added love for your littlest ones, from Farmer Jen!”
A fan loved the ideas, writing, “You are so adorable. Someone should make miniature versions of you. Place those mini yous in stores where they can unleash joy to customers everywhere.”
