Getting stuck on an elevator is quite an adventure. Whether it’s for a few minutes or a few hours, you’re likely to experience a host of emotions. Jennifer Garner recently got stuck in an elevator during her very first Comic Con, and it was a hilariously terrifying ordeal.
Jennifer shared a video of the predicament on Instagram in a series of slides. Two minutes in, she joked she could use a Wolverine or a Deadpool to come to the rescue. At 11 minutes, it was getting “toasty,” and Jen started sweating. When she checked in at 35 minutes, she said she learned on an episode of The Office or Brooklyn Nine-Nine that you’re supposed to sit, so she was plopped on the floor.
At 41 minutes in the elevator, the group had become a bit slap-happy, so Jennifer Garner started to sing 99 Bottles of Beer before someone called 911 at the 45-minute mark for more help. The person tells the dispatcher they are in San Diego, and Jennifer remarks, “I thought we were in Vegas.”
After an hour, they started to hear some “beeping,” and things looked promising. But it was clearly hot as Jennifer began fanning her underarms with her blouse. If you know, you know, right?
The elevator finally opened after a long hour and 12 minutes. Passengers cheered as a group of firefighters began escorting them off.
