We’re not sure about the temperatures in the Twin Cities, but if you were watching KMSP’s nightly weather report recently, there was a 100 percent chance of laughter! Meteorologist Jennifer McDermed was in the middle of delivering her forecast when a technical glitch brought the broadcast to a screeching halt.

It all started when she raised her arm and saw that there were multiple versions of her on-screen. “Ooh, that’s funky!” she exclaimed. Sure enough, the screen morphed into several copies of her in a rather psychedelic manner that was impossible to ignore. Laughing, she moved her arms hypnotically and said, “I don’t really know what’s going on,” as more and more Jennifers appeared.
“Do you guys want one Jennifer? Or two Jennifers?” she joked. Meanwhile, the anchor asked, “Can you lead that train off?” Wordlessly, Jennifer did just that… and no one could keep a straight face!
Jennifer handled this technical issue like an absolute champ! It’s not easy being on live television when things go wrong, but if you maintain your sense of humor, you always win. Check out the hilarious weather report in the video below, and don’t forget to share this story.
