John Stamos Sent Well Wishes to Dave Coulier Amid Cancer News
Dave announced on November 13 that he has stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He discovered his cancer after an illness a few weeks before. Dave disclosed his cancer because he wanted to be transparent about what was going on in his life and help others.
He told Today, “The one thing that just kept presenting itself to me was to tell other people about it. Talk to them about getting something as simple as pre-screening or a breast exam, mammogram, a colonoscopy or a prostate exam,” he said. “It’s a really simple thing to do and it can add years to your life.”
As soon as Dave made his cancer diagnosis public, his friends rallied around him, including John. He shared several photos on Instagram of the pair throughout the years with the caption, “My brother from day 1. Love you @dcoulier, and I’ll be by your side through it all.”
Dave quickly responded back in the comments, “I love you and can’t wait to see you tomorrow!!!”
Fans also shared their love, like this person, “He has a great support team and Bob watching over him! He’s got this!”
And this one, “Such great photos. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you while ‘Joey’ heals.”
