When a baby is brand new, they are sweet and cuddly. We breathe in those moments, thinking they’ll last forever. But in a blink, they’re over. Before we know it, our babies are toddlers, and, well, they are a different breed. Any parent who has made it past the baby stage and is tiptoeing toward a threenager will tell you that it’s not for the faint-hearted. Kaley Cuoco’s 19-month-old daughter, Matilda, is living her best toddler life. During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Kaley made a hilarious analogy for those who’ve never lived the toddler life.

Kaley Cuoco Said Parenting A Toddler Is Exhausting
She also told Jimmy that she was with her therapist talking about why she’s always so tired. “I was explaining to her that taking care of a 19-month-old is like taking care of your drunk best friend every day,” Kaley laughed. “All day, literally all day.”
Kaley said toddlers and drunk friends do the same kinds of things. “They’re crying when they don’t get what they want. You’re making sure they make it to the bathroom, or you’re cleaning their throw-up from whatever.”
Kaley Cuoco added that having a toddler is like following that one friend just can’t trust into a bar.
“They’re out of their minds, and you’re making sure they don’t die all day long,” she said. “And then they black out, and you’re like ready to die. And they wake up, and they’re like, ‘What’s for breakfast?’”
Kaley, who shares Matilda with fiancé Tom Pelphrey, admitted her daughter has no idea what she’s doing to her mother.
“And you’re like, ‘What?’ I’m like, ‘Do you even know what happened last night?’ ” she added it’s “insane and it happens every day.”
