Kate Middleton Shared Her Excitement On Social Media

The Princess of Wales Centre for Early Childhood is starting a pilot program to support young children and their caregivers. A main part of the initiative is the Alarm Distress Baby Scale, a tool that will help strengthen the relationship between parents and infants.

“Babies start to express their feelings and communicate with the adults around them from birth. Helping parents to connect with them, understand their cues and give warm loving, responsive care can have a hugely positive impact on their social and emotional development,” Kate Middleton explained on Instagram.

She added, “The expansion of the trial means that thousands more families will benefit from health visitors specially trained in this area, laying the strongest possible foundations for infant wellbeing in the earliest weeks, months and years of their lives.”

Many shared Kate’s exuberance, like this person who wrote, “I work with new parents who have benefitted so much from this! Really glad to see efforts poured into early childhood research and support. Such crucial work!”

And this one, “Incredible news! Well done Catherine and everyone involved with this project.”

This person wrote of Kate Middleton, “Simply brilliant so amazing that even more parents will be able to get the necessary help and support to learn how to understand their babies’ needs!!”
