Before she was the future Queen of England, Kate Middleton spent time as a college coed. She actually met Prince William at the University of St. Andrews, where she attended from 2001 to 2005. During those days, Kate Middleton lived a typical college life, living in a dorm and even attending a few social gatherings. A former roommate shared a throwback image of herself and Kate in the early 2000s, loaded with nostalgia.

Kate Middleton Seemed To Enjoy College Life
Her former roommate, Laura Warshauer, shared the throwback picture on Instagram in July with a sweet message to Kate.
“Sending love to Kate Middleton, the future Queen of England and my university dormmate! This was us at a Hope Street flat party. I have the loveliest college memories with Kate. She is the kindest, most caring, down-to-earth, genuine person, and it’s incredible to see her shining so brightly and inspiring the world with her compassion and courage,” Laura wrote.
The picture made many people smile. One person noticed Kate Middleton and Laura haven’t aged much since college. “Neither of you have changed much, so gorgeous!!!!! I’m so happy to see her out and about again with that big smile!”
“Wow, that’s awesome! Love to both,” this person agreed.
“How cool! You’re so magical, lady,” another commented.
This follower loved seeing the friendship Laura and Kate Middleton formed in college remains today. “How sweet your tribute to her back when she was diagnosed, may her illness never come back, and how beautiful you both are in this picture.”
Laura’s message came after the princess underwent treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer. She’s since publicly announced she has completed her treatment. This news came as a delight to family, friends, and Kate Middleton’s college pals.
Kate is slowly getting back to a more traditional royal life with public appearances but plans to focus on staying cancer-free putting her health and family first.
