Katherine Schwarzenegger & Chris Pratt’s Toddler Proved She’s Pumped To Become A Big Sister

There are few things as exciting when you’re little as finding out you’ll have a younger sibling. Sure, it can be an adjustment, but knowing you’ll have a built-in playmate is fun. Katherine Schwarzenegger and her husband, Chris Pratt, share daughters Lyla Marie, 4, and Elosie Christina, 2. Katherine and Chris are expecting baby number three. Lyla’s already done the big sis thing, it’s a whole new world for Eloise.

Baby Pratt is on the way, and Eloise has some new gear. Katherine captioned the pic, “Big sis loading…,” with a shot of Eloise in a “Big Sis” baseball cap. She also shared video of Eloise running in a cute pink dress. This kid’s clearly excited about the new baby on the way.

Katherine and Chris married in 2019 and started their family soon after. Chris, who shares son Jack, 12, with ex-wife Anna Faris, told E! News parenting girls is much different than parenting boys. Chris said the girls are much more organized and take after their mom. He admitted there is a lot of planning when it comes to their day-to-day lives.

“But even the differences between my two daughters just goes to show that every child is a little bit different,” he said.

Katherine penned a sweet essay for her mother, Maria Shriver’s website, after Lyla’s birth. She wrote,

“I have never felt so sure of a new role or moment in my life than when I was handed my daughter. When I became a mother, I felt like everything in my life had led me right to that baby being put on my chest, and it was perfect. Mom is the title I have always wanted and the role that I have looked forward to for as long as I can remember.”

“Embarking on this new chapter of motherhood allowed for a new blossoming of a part of my relationship with my own mother. She was the first person to meet our daughter, and it was a moment I will never forget. To watch her step into the role of grandmother has been one of the greatest joys of my life—and let me tell you, she is just as perfect, playful, and fun at being a grandmother as you can imagine.”
