By now, Keanu Reeves has become famous for being a kind guy who loves to make someone’s day. Turns out, this is nothing new.

Before Reeves became the talented actor he is today, he was a Canadian news reporter for CBC. One of his segments from 1984 has made its way around Twitter, and it’s making fans everywhere fall even more in love with this kind-hearted celebrity.
For this particular segment, Reeves was tasked with covering a very important event: the first Canadian International Teddy Bear Convention. He chatted with folks both human and otherwise about the big day, asking hard-hitting questions like, “Why are all bears’ first names Teddy?”
We may not get answers to questions like these in this clip, but Reeves’ silliness more than makes up for it.
Watch Reeves’ bear-y fascinating news segment below, and don’t forget to share.
