Ken Jennings Is a Great “Jeopardy!” Host, But He’s Not Perfect

Even though his arguably one of the most intelligent people in America, he is still human and makes mistakes from time to time. During a recent taping of Jeopardy!, Ken Jennings accidentally answered while reading the clue. Jeopardy! shared the guffaw on Instagram in a video captioned,

“Even the GOAT makes mistakes! We always have spare clues, so we just made a simple swap for broadcast! It’s like it never even happened.”

While reading a clue, Ken said, “Paint it black and back to…paint it…” Catching his error, he said,  “We gotta toss it.”

“I think I was supposed to say ‘blank’ there,” Ken said as the audience laughed.

Fans loved the little mistake and shared their thoughts in the comment section.

Someone saw a glimpse of Alex Trebek. “There’s a touch of Alex in him with the way he handles that gaffe. Ken’s got a brilliant sense of humor.”

This person felt like it was a tough clue to read, “To be fair, that’s one hell of a close resemblance of words for something like that.”

Another person liked Ken even more after the mishap.Ooooo bloopers?!?? I just knew Ken was perfection. This actually makes him more perfect.”

The clip left some people thirsting for more. “Man I never knew Jeopardy had bloopers… Very interesting to see… So like there are backup questions for these types of flub-ups?”
