Kevin Bacon & Kyra Sedgwick Dance Together Despite Being “A Thousand Miles” Apart

Some say absence makes the heart grow fonder. Due to the demands of high-pressure careers, celebrities often spend extended periods away from each other. Projects and shoots may take them away, but that doesn’t mean they don’t miss home and the people they love the most. Being apart is certainly easier today than it was years before, thanks to incredible technology. Cell phones, computers, and FaceTime are almost as good as having your loved ones by your side.

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick Love To Dance Even When They’re Not Together

The song Disco by Surf Curse has been a sensation on social media, with couples choreographing dances to the viral song. But what do you do if your dance partner isn’t around? Take the lead from Kevin and Kyra. Kevin posted a sweet video of him dancing with his wife, even though they aren’t in the same city.

Kevin captioned his Instagram post, “Being a thousand miles away doesn’t mean we can’t dance together.”

In the video, Kyra dances on the left of the split screen while Kevin dances on the right. Even though we know they aren’t together, their moves are pretty darn in sync. That probably shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. The pair married in 1988 and appear to be just as in love now as they were then. Fans agreed.

This person wrote what plenty of us thought, “Marriage goal.”

“Love everything about that. Apart… but 💯% present,” someone else agreed.

The sweet dance gave other long-distance relationships a glimpse and what could be.

“Gives me hope for my long distance love going on 5 years! Y’all are adorable.”

Congratulations, Kevin and Keira. After nearly 40 years together, you still inspire people to love big, no matter how far apart you are.
