It’s been a little more than a month since Donald Trump took office for his second term as president. Since Grover Cleveland, he’s the first United States President to serve nonconsecutive terms. Donald Trump has been busy in the last month and recently received an unprecedented invitation from King Charles. Parade reported British Prime Minister Keir Starmer shared a letter with Trump at a recent visit to the White House, “This is a letter from His Majesty the King. It’s an invitation for a second state visit.”

King Charles Inviting President Trump To Great Britain Is A Huge Deal
“This is really special. This has never happened before. This is unprecedented,” Starmer said. “This is a very special letter. I think the last state visit was a tremendous success. His Majesty the King wants to make this visit even better than that, so this is truly historic. An unprecedented second state visit, he wants to talk that through with you.”
Starmer then joked with Trump. “What I haven’t gotten yet is your answer,” leading those around them to laugh.
The president replied, “The answer is yes. On behalf of our wonderful First Lady, Melania, and myself, the answer is yes.We look forward to being there and honoring the King, honoring your country. Your country is a fantastic country, and it will be an honor to be there.”
An official date for the visit wasn’t’ announced, but Donald Trump seemed to be looking forward to meeting King Charles soon.
