Imagine being in a band covering My Own Worst Enemy at a random bar and having the lead singer of Lit jump on stage with you. That happened to a group in Key West.

Lit’s lead singer, AJ Popoff, was having a drink and listening to some with some friends at The Smokin Tuna one day when the band started playing his 1999 chart-topping hit. He decided he wanted to sing along. So, he calmly walked on stage and politely asked to take the microphone.
One of AJ’s friends caught the cameo on camera, and you can watch it below. Caution: The language is NSFW.
When AJ asked to take the lead, it looked like a few of the band members didn’t know who he was. Some people in the crowd looked confused, too, until those in the know started spreading the news. All of a sudden, everyone took out their cameras to film the chance performance.
“I love this,” a fan commented. “What a cool surprise for everyone!!!
#1 That is amazing. #2 you just gave those guys a memory they will never forget,” another praised. “Kuddos and much love to you!”
The special appearance took place during the 2024 RockIsland Fest, which is an annual four day music event that’s spread out along the beaches of Key West.
Before the Lit lead singer tapped out, he gave the bandmembers a hug and told them they “rule.”
“Those guys were rad!!🔥 I couldn’t resist🤘🏼,” AJ wrote in the captions.
“@ajaypopoff thanks for rocking with us brother!” the band replied. “So much fun!🤘🏼”
