Lifesaving Puppy Rescue: “They Were Left In A Hot Plastic Tote Bin – Baking In The Sun”

Four brown puppies in a grey plastic box.

A heartwarming puppy rescue saved the lives of four adorable pooches, but it never would have happened if one kind stranger hadn’t followed his gut. When this man saw an oddly-placed plastic storage bin sitting out by a bridge, he decided to look inside. He found a littler of sweet pups trapped in the box, baking under the hot sun! Thankfully, they were still alive.

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue stepped in to care for the puppies, who weren’t doing too well at first. They shared a heartbreaking photo of the tiny dogs inside the plastic bin on Facebook. How could anyone abandon those beautiful faces?

“A hot plastic tote bin left in the sun,” wrote the shelter in their caption. “Inside? A sweet face peeks up. It felt like he was asking, ‘Are you going to help us? I don’t feel so good.'”

Good news: these puppies are doing just fine now.

In an update, Brother Wolf shared that the puppy rescue was a success! After these little cuties got the medical attention they needed, they started to feel way better. Footage from the shelter shows these dogs running and playing to their hearts’ delight! What a difference from when they were found “in a hot plastic tote bin — baking in the sun,” as the Facebook video describes.

Of course, they owe it all to the gallant stranger who discovered them. In the same clip, Brother Wolf expressed their gratitude to the man for saving these pups.

“We are so grateful he did, because if not, they wouldn’t be experiencing the good part of living,” they wrote.

They also told Newsweek how much they appreciated this man for following his instincts and uncovering the abandoned dogs.

“One of our community members found them near a bridge,” they said. “We are so grateful he looked inside the plastic tote bin when he had a gut feeling something was off.”

According to the news outlet, the rescue puppies are now named Clubs, Diamonds, Spades and Hearts.
