It’s all fun and games until you knock the statue over. As a little girl approached a human statue sitting on a rock in a park, she touched it gently. As she reached for the sunglasses perched on the statue’s face, it slowly began to tip to the side. Shocked, the young girl grabbed hold to keep the statue upright. The Herculean effort the child deployed to keep the statue from falling is hilarious.

Over 11 million people have viewed the video, and several remixed versions are available. The girl uses every ounce of her pint-sized strength. When she gets the statue upright, it begins to topple in a different direction. Not realizing it was a human statue, the poor kid thought she would be in trouble if she let it fall.

The statue finally cooperated with her efforts and permitted her to run off. As she ran away, the statue turned to look at her. She turned around once and saw the new position but continued running away as the person filming called out for her. We aren’t sure if she ever returned to discover that the statue was a man in a costume wearing makeup.

This isn’t the first time we have seen a human statue “coming to life.” When a toddler hugged a statue on a park bench, the statue had to hug back. It was necessary for all things great and decent! Another man took his antics to a park bench to scare pedestrians. The results were hilarious.

If you see a human statue in a park, stop for a selfie. Please be cautious not to tip it over and be wary if it moves. If the “stone” dog barks, run!
