Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos recently announced Live With Kelly and Mark would relocate to a new studio after nearly four decades at the current location. The news was bittersweet for longtime host Kelly, who said her children grew up at the studio.

Kelly Ripa recalled her early days on Live with People. “They came to work with me every day until they went to school,” she said. “They would go to All My Children with me, they would come here with me… we meant when we say they grew up in this building, in these four walls.”
The move to the new studio will bring Live together with other ABC Disney shows at the Robert A. Iger Building at 7 Hudson Square in downtown Manhattan, but there is a bit of a catch. The studio isn’t quite ready.
“Live With Mark And Kelly” Will Broadcast From A Temporary Home
An insider shared with Page Six, “They’re basically going to be doing it from the cafeteria lobby… because they don’t have a studio.”
This is only temporary, but it will be in a different spot when the show returns live.
Another person said it’s a “gorgeous open sprawling space near the cafeteria.”
“It’s amazing!” an insider insisted.
“They’re just putting the final touches on the studio, but everyone is thrilled to be in this new Disney building,” they said.
Kelly and Mark shared a touching farewell video on Instagram on April 1, captioning it, “Here’s to new memories.”
Live With Kelly And Mark hosts’ daughter, Lola Consuelos commented, “This building, the people, and the family that was formed here made me who I am today. Some of my best memories have taken place here. I cannot believe this!!!I refuse to accept.”
