“Lonely” Ginger Cat Gets Tiny New Kitten Friend & Their Bond Is Precious

A hand reaching out to pet a ginger cat.

Being an only cat can get lonely sometimes, so this owner decided to surprise their four-legged friend with a brand new kitten. Things worked out better than they could have imagined! A cat mom on social media shared the sweet story of how her pet became best buddies with his younger sibling. Apparently, it all started when the woman moved into her own apartment.

In her video, the pet parent explained that her kitty, Ludacris, didn’t seem to be adjusting to their living situation all that well. He followed his owner wherever she went, going so far as to climb up onto her shoulder while she was using the bathroom! So, Mom figured that the best thing she could do for her lonely cat was to get a new kitten to keep him company.

Soon, the pair welcomed Kurupt into their family. At first, the cat was pretty stand-offish toward the new kitten. However, it only took about a day for Ludacris to come around. Now, these two are absolutely inseparable!

Mom shared some of the most adorable footage of her cat bonding with the new kitten. Apparently, the older animal loves to groom his little sibling as if the kitty were his own child. They can also be seen playing, napping, and exploring together.

“Safe to say Ludacris is no longer lonely,” wrote the pet owner at the end of her video.

This kitten seems to think that the older cat is his mom!

Unfortunately, Kurupt seems to have a slight misconception about his relationship to his older brother. It looks like the poor kitty thinks that Ludacris is his mother and keeps trying to feed from him! Although there’s no milk to be had, the little guy remains optimistic.

“How am I supposed to tell my kitten that Ludacris isn’t his mama and doesn’t have any milk,” the cat owner wrote in another clip.

Despite this small miscommunication, these two cats are getting along purr-fectly. We’re so glad that these two siblings have each other!
