Random acts of kindness have a way of adding up overtime. Although they often go unnoticed, thanks to Kevin Cate, one Florida man’s eight-year journey is going viral on Twitter.

Kevin took notice of the man while they were at a Waffle House in Midway. He caught his attention because he was attaching notes to money. When asked what he was doing, the man said that he’d been handing out $1s and $5s to strangers since 2014.
During that time, he says he’s given away more than $13,000 to strangers of all ages, often at his favorite restaurant, Waffle House. Each one comes with a note. Kevin, naturally, was eager to learn more about these notes.
In taking his mom’s words to heart, this kind man has made a positive impact on countless people over the years, including the thousands who have seen his story on Twitter alone. Now, others are being prompted to either share their own “love everybody” stories or to go out and create their own.
