Lucille Ball’s Daughter Shared Rare Family Photo—And Her Son Looks Just Like His Famous Grandfather

Lucie Arnaz Lucille Ball

Lucille Ball broke into the comedy world at a time when women typically sat back and watched. She and her husband, Desi Arnaz, eloped in 1940, and their love affair began. During their 20-year marriage, Lucy and Desi not only became America’s favorite television funny couple on I Love Lucy, they also became parents. Lucy welcomed her daughter Lucie Arnaz in 1951 and her son Desi Arnaz Jr. in 1952. As a matter of fact, Lucille Ball was the first pregnant woman ever depicted on national television. Although deemed too popular for TV, Lucy and Desi simply said she was “expecting.” Lucy and Desi have been gone a long time, but their children are alive and well.
