Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie are definitely having a ball this season on American Idol. The season four winner returned as a judge and has made quite an impact on contestants and her fellow judges. Carrie’s knowledge of country music impressed Luke so much, he gave Carrie a very fitting nickname. He told Country Music Television that Carrie knows so much about the industry that he dubbed her the “country music jukebox.”

Luke Bryan Though He Knew A Lot Of Country Until He Met Carrie Underwood
He told CMT, “I kinda pride myself on being a jukebox, but she is literally a country music jukebox,” Luke said. “So when I start singing something, she jumps right in, no matter if it’s from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, present day.”
Luke said they’re having a lot of fun singing on the American Idol set this season because “She’s literally like a jukebox.”
Luke Bryan joked that while he and Carrie Underwood sing their little hearts out, Lionel Richie just looks at them “like we’re crazy.”
Having Carrie back on American Idol has been a welcomed change for fans. She’s brought a new flavor to the show, and it’s been a nice transition. Many fans shared their love for the judges on CMT’s Instagram page.
