Luke Bryan has both a fantastic voice and a silly sense of humor. He’s been a judge on American Idol since its reboot in 2018 and stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live recently to talk about life. The Georgia native now lives near Nashville and shared a funny neighborhood story with Jimmy. He said he went into a gas station near his house, and the attendant was positively starstruck when he saw him. But the attendant wasn’t excited about meeting Luke Bryan, he mistook him for Blake Shelton. Luke laughed as he shared the silly story.

“He was so convinced. He’s like, ‘You’re Blake Shelton. Tell me about being Blake Shelton.’ He goes, ‘Do you get that a lot?’ I said, ‘Not much,'” Luke said.
Luke Bryan And Blake Shelton Are Actually Great Friends
Luke Bryan continued his story and said his child was with him watching the entire interaction. Eventually, the man realized he wasn’t’ actually Blake Shelton.’
Luke said, “The guy looked and me, and he’s like, ‘You are Blake Shelton’s doppelgänger. And he goes, ‘Could you imagine what it would be like to have Blake Shelton’s money?'”
He then told Jimmy, “I said, ‘Oh, what it must be like.'”
Jimmy then asked who does have more money, and Luke confidently said he did. Luke then laughed when Jimmy asked if he had a helicopter because Blake has one. Luke said he does, but only because Blake told him to buy one.
Plenty of people tuned into the Jimmy Kimmel Live segment who weren’t fans of Luke Bryan before but are now.
One wrote, “I’ve never seen Luke before…..never heard any of his music, but I can tell you right now…..he is the most handsome, charismatic man I’ve ever seen!! I’ll be watchin’ out for him!”
This person agreed, “Damn. Way bigger fan of Luke after this. Always liked him but he seems like a genuine dude. Seems as grounded as you can be with a 250k watch on your wrist…but nothing to hate on there. Happy for him and his family.”
This person still isn’t quite sure which is which, Luke Bryan or Blake Shelton.
