You’ve heard of the cat distribution system, but this man’s unexpected puppy rescue will have you believing in the canine version. While sitting in his truck, this driver spotted not one, not two, but five stray doggies wandering the road! He suspected that someone had abandoned them. Since there was a hurricane on the way, this guy knew that he needed to act fast and get these puppies to safety!

“I have to get you out of this weather, so everyone’s coming home with me,” the man said in his footage of the puppy rescue.
Luckily, the pooches were incredibly friendly. As soon as the man called to them, they rushed over to give him kisses and receive head scratches! This driver had absolutely no trouble getting the sweet dogs to cooperate as he carried them to the bed of his pickup truck. Before he took off, though, he did a quick sweep of the area. He didn’t want to leave a single puppy behind during this rescue!
Once the man was certain that there were no more strays wandering around, he drove off with the pooches in the back of his truck. Although they seemed a little restless, none of them tried to jump out. When the man finally pulled up to his home, all five were present and accounted for. It looks like this puppy rescue was successful!
“I can’t believe someone would just abandon these little babies out here,” the man wrote in his social media caption.
After his daring puppy rescue, this guy shared a few updates on their wellbeing. He and his girlfriend, Jessi Rae, took care of the pooches until they could find the perfect homes for them.
