As parents, we love to watch our children become passionate about things. It’s great to see them excited, whether it’s school, the arts, sports, or a hobby they enjoy. If they are involved in a competitive activity, it can be positively nerve-wracking. But don’t worry, celebs have the same anxiety as we do while watching their kids compete. Mark Wahlberg was once the head of the Funky Bunch, but now he spends his extra time watching his daughter compete in horse shows. And just like you might expect, he can hardly stand the anticipation.

Mark Wahlberg’s Daughter, Grace, Is An Accomplished Equestrian
The father of four watched Grace perform recently and shared the footage on Instagram. Grace and her horse completed an impressive jump that made her dad start to pace. In the quick clip, we see Mark with his cap on backward, holding his breath, and shaking his head. From the applause we hear, it seems Mark doesn’t have anything to worry about.
Mark Wahlberg captioned the video of his daughter, “I’ve never been more nervous, anxious, or stressed at any sporting event in my life.”
This equestrian fan knew just how Mark felt. She commented on his post, “I would too if my daughter took the long stride to an oxer! Deep breaths my man. Being a showjumper isn’t easy. What’s even harder is being a showjumper parent.”
Many agreed. Like this fan, “So true! Grace is a lovely rider though, with quality horses and training – she’s got this!”
Mark’s wife, Rhea Durham, also shared a video of Grace a few weeks ago in another competition. She and her horse took first and third in that event, making her parents smile.
We know that no matter how she performs, Mark Wahlberg is always proud of his daughter. A win never hurts.
