So, when we tell you the new Uber Eats Super Bowl commercial is what dreams are made of, we aren’t lying. And did we mention it stars Matthew McConaughey? It does, and you’re welcome. Uber Eats enlisted the help of several other A-listers like Martha Stewart, Greta Gerwig, Kevin Bacon, Charlie xcx, and Sean Evans to help. The Super Bowl commercial revolves around Matthew McConaughey and his conspiracy theory execs created football to sell food. He talks about everything from naming teams after foods and giving players nicknames that will make viewers hungry. It’s hilariously brilliant.

Matthew McConaughey Sells His Super Bowl Theory Hard With The Help Of Peyton Manning

Uber Eats titled the commercial “A Century of Cravings. Matthew narrates his pitch to Greta Gerwig on a movie based on his theory that football is meant to sell food. It starts with calling footballs a pigskin to make people crave bacon, where Kevin Bacon appears. We go through everything from the Buffalo Bills named for a guy called Bill and some chicken wings. And, of course, Peyton Manning is selling beef, to this year’s Super Bowl at Caeser Superdome, because, well, salad.

It’s clever and funny and Matthew McConaughey fans love seeing him in the Super Bowl spot. Some hope this means there’s more Matthew to come. 

He shared it on Instagram, and his fans quickly praised the funny spot.

A fan wrote, “We’ve been asking for some new McConaughey movies/characters over the last few years, and he’s like ‘hold my beer’ best ad ever.”

This person hopes this means good things for Sunday. “I’ll say it. Classic commercials just may be back, folks.”
