We’ve seen it before. After all, it takes just a few keystrokes to find countless videos featuring the giggle-worthy aftermath of patients coming out of anesthesia. Recently, singer Meghan Trainor added a few of her own to the mix.

Her Instagram post makes it pretty clear that the 25-year-old wasn’t feeling like herself when she left the dentist’s office in November. In one picture, she’s being escorted by her husband, Daryl Sabara, and a friend, both of whom can’t help but laugh.

“I was initially going to just take one wisdom tooth out. The dentist said they all had to go,” Trainor wrote. “Wasn’t emotionally or mentally prepared but sure got some great content.”

She really did! The post-surgery videos she took of herself were well worth sharing with her followers.

In one, she struggles to keep her eyes open while she talks around the cotton in her mouth. “Is this for Tommy?” she asks, referring to her manager. “I love you so much, Tommy. I can’t cry, it hurts, but I love you so much. You do so much for me, and I love you forever. I miss you.”

Then we see her in the car jamming out to her new single, “Workin’ On It.” The lyrics come out pretty garbled, but at least she’s having fun!

Finally, the pain starts taking its toll. Trainor sums up all of her feelings in two words: “I regret.”

She may have been a little out of it, but somehow she’s just as adorable as ever. We’re wishing her a speedy recovery (although we would enjoy more videos).
