If you have ever taken a trip along the western coast of the United States, then you know from first-hand experience just how beautiful the views are here. There are so many trails, national parks, and historic landmarks to explore. One of the most popular is located near the Pacific Ocean: the Heceta Head Lighthouse. If you go on social media, you are sure to find lots of stunning videos and photos of this lighthouse, along with the forest that surrounds it. But Anna deCarteret may have shared one of the very best. When she and her significant other ventured out into the forest, they took note of the way the light from Heceta Head beautifully danced across the trees. See this beautiful moment for yourself in the video below!

How cinematic was that moment!? Standing at 206 feet, the Heceta Head Lighthouse has been shining its light out on the coast since 1894. Its beacon can be seen a whopping 21 miles from land, making it the strongest light on Oregon’s coast. It is no wonder, then, it creates such a gorgeous lightshow on whatever it lands on nearby. “This is my favorite place on earth,” someone in the comment section writes, with another taking note, “I never thought of this before, but now I’m dying to do some long exposure photos on a lighthouse.”
“I have a tattoo of this exact lighthouse,” a third person shares, “and it will forever be a sacred place to me.”
