There’s now doubt that the beauty of nature will never ceases to amaze us. With each season, there is something special to admire. During the winter, that includes snow, of course. But I would argue that ice is very much underappreciated. To be fair, there are a lot of good reasons to not be a fan of ice. This is particularly true when it covers roads.

Did you know that water can move like that when frozen? It’s easy to think that large waves would not be able to get past this icy exterior. But an ocean or lake’s ability to produce waves has a lot to do with the thickness of the ice on top. When ice is simply on the surface, it’s much easier to get those satisfying frozen waves.
