If you love collecting sea glass, here’s a beach you absolutely have to visit! One jeweler shared a video on social media from the shores of Playa de los Cristales, a stunning destination in Spain. It looks like there’s more sea glass than sand on this beautiful beach, making a colorful mosaic on the ground! Although this probably makes it a little inconvenient to walk barefoot, it’s still totally worth a trip just for the view.

In her clip, the jeweler reached down to pick up a handful of sea glass off the floor. Each piece was a unique shape and size. They came in different colors, too, ranging from pale pink to dark green. As she allowed the bits of glass to slip through her fingers, they looked like rare gems!
This creator’s travel clip has received three million views. Commenters thought that the sea glass covering the beach floor was absolutely mesmerizing!
“I don’t have enough pockets and bags for all the free things,” wrote one user.
Another added, “I fear I would be there all day, with all pockets or anything resembling a pocket stuffed.”
Sadly, you can’t actually take the sea glass home.
Obviously, this creator would have also loved to leave the beach with a hefty supply of sea glass. She collects these smooth, colorful fragments and turns them into handmade jewelry! Her store is called Mapelles. Unfortunately, though, tourists are prohibited from pocketing any of the glass.
In another video, the jeweler explained the policy in her response to a user’s comment.
“It’s stunning but unfortunately you can’t take the sea glass as it’s protected,” she wrote.
However, in this clip, she added that there are plenty of other reasons to go to Playa de los Cristales. Not only is it amazing to see so much sea glass on one beach, but the water is also spectacularly clear. Plus, the location is fairly obscure, making it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Would you visit this beach full of sea glass?
