What do Ellen DeGeneres and Michelle Obama have in common? Neither one of them is regularly doing their shopping at CVS. While the popular pharmacy may be a go-to one-stop-shop for the rest of us, I suppose it wouldn’t be a very convenient trip for the First Lady and her Secret Service agents; nor would it be a logical destination for a celebrity as recognizable as Ellen.
However, Ellen and Michelle (Or “Shelly” as Ellen calls her!) thought it would be beneficial to take a trip to CVS. After all, the Obamas won’t be in the White House for much longer, so a grocery-shopping refresher might be exactly what she needs in preparation for the upcoming transition. Of course, Ellen is– well– Ellen, so naturally mayhem ensued.
From busting into some Franzia boxed wine to riding in the shopping cart to signing a baby, Ellen completely embarrasses Michelle Obama, but she makes us all laugh in the process! I don’t know who thought to give Ellen a megaphone, but she certainly gets a kick out of it! Who is surprised? “She’s out of control” says Michelle. “It’s like taking a three year old to the store!”
