Michael Bolton turned 72 on February 26 and made sure to celebrate his birthday. The singer shared his brain cancer diagnosis in January 2024 and disclosed he had a tumor requiring “immediate surgery.” Since then, Michael has taken a break from his music to concentrate on his health. He posted a photo on Facebook with his daughters Holly, 47, and Taryn, 45, and three of his six grandkids, Amelia, Olivia, and River. Michael also has a daughter, Isa, 49.

Michael Bolton Stays Close With His Family
He Told People In 2023 his daughters and grandchildren mean the world to him. “I love any excuse that allows us all together,” he said. “I’m filled with more love and pride in my girls as they raise their own families. Watching them parent, watching them speaking to their kids. I’m just so proud of them.”
While we know Michael for his incredible voice and song list, his grandchildren are less enthusiastic. He said, “There’s a birthday card where you have to pull my head out of this cake, and then I sing ‘Happy Birthday.’ One of my grandchildren saw it in the store and said, ‘How is G-pa getting so famous?’ “It’s amusing and funny, but they’re not impressed by celebrity.”
Fans loved seeing Michael with his daughters and granddaughters and shared well wishes on Facebook.
