Michael Bublé’s Daughter Starts Her Day With Snoop Dogg And Fans Can’t Get Enough

Snoop Dogg

Many of us remember when rap music was considered taboo. Some of us even had to hide a few of our favorite tapes and CDs under our beds for safekeeping. Dr. Dre’s The Chronic introduced us to Snoop Doggy Dog on the smash hit track Ain’t Nuthin’ But A G Thing. We’ve been hooked ever since. For more than 30 years, Snoop’s been droppin’ it like it’s hot for millions of fans. The older he gets, the more diverse his catalog becomes.

Snoop Dogg’s A Hit With The Kids

In recent years, we’ve seen a different side of Snoop. From cooking with Martha Stewart to representing Team USA as a super fan at the Olympics and judging The Voice, he’s softened that gangster interior and garnered a whole new generation of fans.

Fellow The Voice judge Michale Buble told Late Night With Seth Meyers that his 6-year-old daughter, Vida, loves the rapper.

“Gonna sound weird,” Bublé admitted to Seth, “So before I left for The Voice, she goes, ‘Papi, are you gonna sing with Snoop?’ And I go, ‘What?'”

Michael asked Vida how she knew Snoop. “She goes, ‘Alexa, play Snoop Dogg’s Affirmations, ‘” Bublé revealed. “And all of a sudden, this music comes on, and it’s Snoop saying, ‘My family loves me so much,’ and she starts going, ‘My family loves me so much,'” he sang.

Vida’s kindergarten teacher plays Snoop Dogg’s ‘Affirmations’ a track from his 2022 Doggyland album for her class. Papa Snoop made that album for his own grandchildren and it became a hit for teachers. Vida is such a fan, she asked Michael if she could make a video for Snoop to share her love.

“I showed him, and he was so cute. It really, really moved him. He’s a beautiful soul,” Michael shared with Seth. “And he goes, ‘Mike… Mike, you’re telling me in Vancouver, that those kindergarteners listen to Uncle Snoop every day?'”

Seth shared the video on TikTok, and fans loved it.

A parent wrote, “We listen to snoop affirmations on the drive to school. Perfect way to start the day.”

This person listens, too, “As a daycare provider, I never thought I would be starting my day with Snoop Dogg but we did.”

This fan wrote what so many thought, “If anyone had told us 20 years ago that Snoop would be getting played in kindergarten classrooms, we would have thought they were INSANE! I’m so glad this is where his life took him!”
