Isabella Strahan received a brain cancer diagnosis one day shy of her 19th birthday. She and her twin sister, Sophia, celebrated their 20th birthday on October 28 and Isabella reflected on a difficult year. In her Instagram stories on October 27, she shared a pic of herself in a historical bed surrounded by flowers and balloons. She wrote, “365 days since my life changed tremendously,” on the first image. Then, “Thankful for the progress I’ve made,” on the second one.

Isabella Strahan Shared Her Cancer Diagnosis With “Good Morning America”
Isabella Strahan announced her brain cancer diagnosis in October 2023 in a GMA interview with her father, Michael Strahan, and co-host Robin Roberts.
“I didn’t notice anything was off till probably like October 1,” she explained. Isabella Strahan thought she was just having headaches and nausea until her walking became impaired, and she knew it was something more serious. She spent the next several months documenting her cancer journey on her YouTube channel. Isabella Strahan announced that chemotherapy would end in May, and she’d be on a journey to a cancer-free life.
Her father shared a sweet birthday message for his girls on Instagram on October 2 . He wrote, “Happy Birthday to my baby girls, @isabellastrahan and @sophialstraha ! Can’t believe how fast 20 years have passe . Loved celebrating at Disney and looking to celebrate many many more my loves ! Love you.”
Isabella Strahan shared a TikTok celebrating with her friends and family in Disneyland and fans sent well-wishes to the cancer survivor.
