When you have two daughters, it can lead to double trouble and double hilarity, especially when they get their wisdom teeth removed on the same day. One mom found out that twins can have very different reactions to anesthesia following a dental procedure. Watch the video here.

Ruby Mulvaney is crying uncontrollably after her wisdom teeth removal. When her mom asks why, she answers that she doesn’t know. While unexpected, crying is a typical post-anesthesia reaction for some people. Anxiety from the procedure releases all at once, and many people cry when it is over.

Poor Lily Mulvaney in the back seat doesn’t seem to be doing very well. The teen is sitting there, mouth agape, staring at nothing. When her mom notices, she calls her name but receives no answer. For some people, this is also a standard post-anesthesia reaction. Fortunately, the anesthesia used for dental procedures wears off within a few hours.

As Ruby and Lily slowly returned to normal, their mom took them home and followed the aftercare instructions. It isn’t always this easy, but post-anesthesia fugues can be pretty hilarious. Teen Maria had some real issues after her wisdom teeth removal. She awoke from the anesthesia normally, but she thought her tongue fell out. As if that wasn’t funny enough, she thought the IV line was a string controlling her like a marionette. Her dad was no help as he couldn’t stop laughing.

Another teen recovering from anesthesia following a dental procedure thought the doctor had removed several appendages and one cheek (yes, just the one). The girl also thought she was a mermaid and wondered how she would visit Paris in her new form.
