Mom’s Halloween “Feet Loaf” Backfires When They Come Out Too Good!

When Halloween season rolls around, parents often look for new ways for their kids to have fun. While this is done for the kids themselves, if we’re being entirely honest, the adults often enjoy this spooky season, too. It’s the perfect chance to get creative and be a bit more like a kid again. That said, a mom named Lav recently flexed her Halloween creativity through quite an interesting dinner… meatloaf.

Okay, so the meal wasn’t your typical meatloaf. Rather than taking on the traditional loaf shape, Lav sculpted hers to look like large feet. To add some fun details, she included slivers of onions to replicate toenails and bone. This recipe is actually quite popular online and referred to as “feet loaf.” Lav was excited to see if she, too, could pull off this fun Halloween food… but the results weren’t quite what she expected. Odds are, you’re having a similar reaction to Lav’s meatloaf as most of the other people who have seen this viral video. Because, honestly, what about the results seems flawed? Well, turns out, it’s the perfection itself that caused Lav’s kids to not be fans of the feet loaf. Well, at least, they aren’t fans of eating the creative dish!

“I thought it would be a cute fun dinner,” Lav explains in reply to someone’s compliment, “but the kids thought it looked gross lol. But thank you!”
