Last month, we learned about the birth of Tupi, the baby capybara, at the San Antonio Zoo. This little critter made the internet swoon as he shared a meal with his Mom by totally hogging the bowl of food. Fans can’t get enough of the cute little fellow as he eats his way into our hearts. With all that eating, he needs naps, too, but was sadly interrupted by a rude crow.

The interruption didn’t seem to last long as the crow fluttered off. Tupi took it in stride and laid his head back down to resume his slumber. Based on ongoing political discourse about renaming the Gulf of Mexico, Tupi fans are voting to call it the Gulf of Tupi. We find no reason to dispute that.
Adorable videos are piling up on the San Antonio Zoo Instagram page. As Tupi grows, we watch the little capybara like a doting aunt. He is big enough not to climb into the bowl to reach all the great veggies at mealtime.
Tupi the capybara is just beginning his adventures. You can watch him on the San Antonio Zoo Instagram page as he continues to grow throughout the year. They will continue to capture his every cute move to delight fans worldwide. Whether this little fellow is eating, napping, or trotting around the enclosure, he continues to delight everyone. Check out the adorable ear wiggles!

Move over, Moo Deng; there is a new cute little critter winning our hearts. The internet might not be ready for all of this cuteness! We probably have room to coddle both of these cuddly little animals.
Please share if you think Tupi is the cutest capybara you have ever seen.
