Move Over, Shakira! This Adorable Dog’s Hips Don’t Lie

A dog walking around with a stuffed animal in her mouth.

Shakira might be famous for her dance moves in the music video for Hips Don’t Lie, but this precious pup is giving the singer a run for her money! A dog mom on social media caught the most hilarious footage of her pooch, Dora, shaking her little booty with reckless abandon. This sassy Staffy was wearing a spangled wrap skirt that jingled whenever she wagged her tail — which was pretty much constantly! All the while, the dog was carrying a stuffed animal in her mouth, making the video even more adorable.

Obviously, the pup’s owner had to pair this clip with Shakira’s hit song, Hips Don’t Lie. Dora’s wiggly behind was perfectly synched to the music as she wandered around in her fancy outfit. Millions of people have watched this cute video online!

Commenters thought this little dog looked too sweet dancing her heart out to Shakira’s Hips Don’t Lie!

“Who is this diva??” asked one user.

Another joked, “All I’m saying is I’ve never seen Shakira and her in the same room at the same time.”

This dog’s little dance is just as cute without the song.

One person absolutely demanded to see the same video without the music so that they could properly hear the dog’s jingly skirt.

“I’m BEGGING you for the original sound… I NEED to hear all the jingles,” they wrote.

Dora’s owner was more than happy to comply!

This was honestly a brilliant suggestion, because the constant clatter of Dora’s spangled posterior was too funny! Another bonus was that you could also hear everyone in the background giggling over the energetic pooch in her noisy costume.

Although Dora’s owner tagged Shakira in the first video, it doesn’t look like the Hips Don’t Lie singer responded. We can’t blame her we’d be intimidated by this dog’s awesome dance moves, too!
