MrBeast Proposal

Holiday engagements are always a fun surprise. This year, YouTuber MrBeast decided to seal the deal with his girlfriend, Thea Booysen, with a sweet proposal and a beautiful ring. MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, 26, surprised Thea in front of both of their families for Christmas. He typically likes to go big, but for this surprise, he decided to keep things intimate and sweet.

“My friends thought I would want to propose in a very public way, like some sort of spectacle at the Super Bowl or somewhere else really big like that, but I knew that I wanted it to be the opposite, to be really private and intimate,” MrBeast told People of the proposal.

Thea And MrBeast Looked Sweet In Matching Sweaters For The Proposal

He shared images of the engagement on Instagram and he and Thea wore matching branded sweaters before he popped the question. She beamed as she showed off her stunning round solitaire.

For Thea, the proposal was just a formality from MrBeast. She told People, “In my mind, we’re already married. We’re already on the same page about these things. We talk about children, how we’re going to live together when we’re 70 years old… this was just another step in the process,” Thea said.

Fans loved seeing the couple make it official.

One shared, “Congratulations Thea & Jimmy!!! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together!”

Another fan wrote, “Congrats Jimmy! Let us all come to the wedding.”

But it looks like that probably won’t happen. MrBeast kept the proposal small and he wants the wedding to remain the same. He told People, “This will definitely be more family and friends — definitely more private,” the groom-to-be says of his future nuptials. “I don’t take much vacation because of how hard I work, so I definitely want to make sure that the wedding will be a time to celebrate with her and spend time with friends and family who we really enjoy being with. It will be the ultimate way to take some time away and enjoy things.”
