“My Dog’s Worst Enemy Is The Snowman In Our Neighborhood”

Image shows a snowman that a friendly dog always barks at.

Nala is “the goodest girl.” She is a golden retriever with a ton of personality and a kitty brother named Ollie. Although she is usually laid back, Nala seems to have a real issue with the neighbor’s snowman. Since the recent snowfall, walking the dog past the snowman becomes a stroll through enemy territory.

Nala lets out low, grumbling growls when they near the neighbor’s house. The closer they get, the more reactive the gentle golden becomes. The dog barks loudly at the snowman as if he is attacking her owner.

The snowman is not particularly large or threatening, but for some reason, the dog thinks it might be a menace. Nala is generally a very docile animal. However, she sounds like a vicious man-eating dog around the snowman. Her owner is baffled by the behavior.

When Nala the dog passes this neighbor's snowman she acts like it is her mortal enemy.

Nala usually reserves her grumbles and growls for wrestling matches with her little brother. The two playfully grapple every day. But those aren’t mean growls like the dog displays when she faces the evil snowman. Those are the playful growls and yelps of a happy dog playing with his kitty sibling. Their wrestling matches have become a daily thing since the first one shown below.

When Nala isn’t playing with Ollie, she does typical golden retriever things. Like most goldens, she would allow a thief to steal a bike for a belly rub. She loves playing in the water, even when the temperatures are frigid. When mom takes Nala on her walks, Ollie sometimes goes along for the ride.

The dog’s odd reaction to the snowman is the only thing that sets Nala’s behavior apart from most golden retrievers.

Please share if you laughed at her odd behavior.
